I have a variety of work experience providing support to individuals who are experiencing mental health disorders and emotional distress. My passion is to support individuals through their mental health journey by holding a safe and comfortable space.

I currently work as a School Counselor and get to support students emotionally and socially! In my role, I provide 1:1 check-ins with students, student groups, and lessons within the classrooms. I have additional experience in the education field as a paraprofessional, substitute teacher, and high school girls basketball coach.

In my free time I love spending time with my family, friends, and my sweet dog Stella! I love sports and being active, and when the weather is nice I enjoy running outside. I also love traveling and exploring new places. I am beyond excited to spend this summer with the Camp I Can campers, practicing bravery, empowerment, and self-confidence!

I have experience working in summer camps, and more broadly in supporting people through mental health concerns and emotional distress. Most recently, I've worked as a School Counselor helping students grow their social and emotional skills.

I have a deep passion for helping students grow their social and emotional skills and knowledge. My goal for Camp I Can for Girls is to provide a safe place for self-exploration and growth.

In my free time I like to read, watch movies, and cook new recipes. I am so excited to spend the summer with our campers, empowering girls to be confident in themselves and be their best self!

I have had the pleasure of working with PreK-High School aged students for the past 15 years in a variety of capacities. Most notably as a School Counselor for Phoenix School Counseling.
Some of my favorite things are helping students learn new skills, grow, and walking hand in hand with them as they take small steps and large leaps into the people they are meant to be. I love being a part of their journey and their building blocks to a healthy whole self.
Outside of work and camp I love to travel the world, meet new people, eat delicious food, read books, host events, and play with my pup Bella. All of these things are important, but I wouldn't be me if I couldn't help kids be their happiest and fullest selves.

My work experience is vast as I have had the pleasure of walking alongside adolescents, teens, and adults of diverse backgrounds. I have served as a Mental Health Practitioner, a School Mental Health Therapist, and most recently a School Counselor for Phoenix School Counseling.
As a school counselor, I provide group services aimed at proactive social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. I also engage in 1:1 sessions aimed at targeted goals and small peer groups. The greatest joy for me is seeing when a child has taken the skills we have worked on and applied them to real world situations.
In my free time, you can find me with my dog, Moose. I enjoy reading during the winter months and being outdoors during the warmer months. When time allows, I travel back to my hometown in order to see my parents, siblings, and nephews/nieces.
I look forward to working alongside Camp I Can campers this summer!

My hobbies include: going to movies, traveling, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and trying new restaurants. I really look forward to working Camp I Can!

I have experience with a couple of different positions within the education field. I began working in schools as a paraprofessional and as an education assistant specialist. My current role as a school counselor allows me to provide students with social and emotional support and learning. Most of my work is done individually or with small groups. My passion stems from my love of working in school settings along with being able to support and work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of students.
In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, and snuggle my three dogs. I am very excited to be a part of Camp I can for Girls this summer! I cannot wait to support and empower girls to become the best version of themselves.

I have a variety of experiences working with families and their students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I currently work as a school counselor where I engage with a wide
range of students from as young as 4 years old, to as old as 13. In this role, I help support students in both their educational and personal growth, through different social-emotional learning and exploration.
I have an extreme passion when it comes to helping students find their way. I love working with students through different strategies such as individual and group work, as well as classroom guidance lessons. These help me build a unique connection with every student where they trust me as their counselor but most importantly as a person.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and of course my dog Archie! I grew up playing hockey and baseball, so I still like finding a way to be active and also competitive. Both my wife and I work in schools, so one of our favorite things to do during our summer break is to travel. Last summer, we were able to travel all around Norway in a camper van for two weeks. I love to meet new people and most people who know me call me an extreme extrovert, so I can’t
wait for Camp I Can for Boys to start!
